Indiana Early Childhood Education Day

  • Indiana Statehouse (South Atrium) 200 W. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46204 Indianapolis, IN 46204 USA (map)

This event is organized by the Indiana Association for the Education of Young Children (INAEYC)

and the Early Education Works Coalition, in partnership with out-of-school time care providers,

to raise awareness about the importance of early childhood education and to advocate for

policies that support children and families. It’s a day where educators, parents, policymakers, and

community leaders from across Indiana will come together to discuss and promote the needs and

benefits of early learning programs and the workforce in the state.

This is crucial for highlighting the transformative impact of early care and education on children’s

development and to acknowledge that childcare is essential infrastructure for economic growth.

This serves as a platform for stakeholders to stay engaged and provide input on early childhood

initiatives. It’s a day of collaboration and celebration of the efforts made toward improving early

childhood education and ensuring that children have access to high-quality learning opportunities

taught by educated and skilled educators.
